Cindy makes functional and decorative pottery and paintings that celebrate everyday life. Her goal is to create pieces that speak of the beauty that exists in the world that centers on faith, family, and love of making art.

The love of art and history led Cindy to her passion for ceramics, particularly horsehair pottery—the technique of decorating pots with horsehair stems from Native American traditions. While Cindy's tribe, the Sault Ste. Marie Chippewa Indians, don't traditionally use this type of decoration for pottery, the connection with other Native American tribes caught, and kept Cindy's interest.

Cindy has a BFA from Nazareth College and has participated in classes and workshops with internationally known artists.
